Having been brought up in Las Cruces, I have been limited to exposure of worldly art museums. However, when I lived in Germany back in the 70's my first real experience in appreciating art was when I visited the famous art museums in Paris. I was totally fascinated with the wonderful art and began "experimenting" with it. I have attended art classes at NMSU and would like to continue. I am far from being an "experienced" artist but I really enjoy painting. I love the outdoors, nature, and modern art; for that reason, I hope to express this love through my art. Martha Diaz
