"Californian born, my art medium of choice has not always been this glowing and ever unpredictable watercolor. My art journey has introduced me to charcoal, pen & ink, oils and pastels. It has also been expressed in textile weaving. It was in the late 90's, after my family was grown and I was looking for a pastime, that I answered an ad for a beginning watercolor class. I fell in love with the techniques and surprises of watercolor and have continued to learn and grow; experimenting and learning from accomplished artists where and whenever I can. My continued focus is to express my fascination with New Mexico land & sky; to capture the southwest flora and fauna; and to explore figurative works in water media."
