"To establish and promote Las Cruces, Mesilla, and the surrounding area as a nationally-known arts community with the purpose of educating the public and enticing more tourists and serious buyers of fine art, thus helping the general economy, attracting more artists, assisting resident artists, and uniting all area artists into a cohesive community."
